About David Eide-Altman

I began piano instruction at age five with my mother and studied formally with several different teachers throughout elementary school, with Constance Twomley as my high school piano teacher at Shenandoah Valley Academy, New Market, VA. In college I studied piano with Florence Clarembeau and organ with Dr. Van Knauss and received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Minor in Music from Columbia Union College, Takoma Park, MD (now Washington Adventist University)

Throughout my life I have had a career as a church organist on both Saturday and Sunday mornings, most recently as organist/pianist and choral accompanist for St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Sykesville, Maryland, as well as organist at Ward's Chapel United Methodist Church, Randallstown, MD for the first service. I also enjoy singing in professional and church choirs.

My wife Rose was a college piano teacher and choral director for many years and together we have two grown and married daughters. We moved to Michigan in 2020 to be near one of our daughters.

Instructing students of all ages in Southwest Michigan, and world-wide via Zoom.
